Lehigh Valley, PA Dentist

Get to Know Dr. Andrew Branton

Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Andrew Branton grew up around dentistry, as his father was a dentist and his mother was a dental hygienist. Watching them care for patients taught him the importance of providing quality treatment while creating a welcoming environment. These values continue to guide his approach today, and they were an important reason he chose to join Dr. Salivonchik’s practice. Since beginning his dental career in 2016, Dr. Branton has enjoyed building relationships with patients and helping them achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Before entering dentistry, Dr. Branton worked in insurance and investment sales for a financial planning firm. He eventually realized he wanted a career that combined hands-on work with regular interaction with people. Inspired by his parents’ example, he pursued dentistry as a way to connect with patients while helping them receive the care they deserve.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Branton earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech University and later studied at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway. He went on to graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry and began practicing dentistry in 2016. Committed to continuing his education, he completed comprehensive training in dental implant placement and restoration at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2018. He is also trained and certified in adult Invisalign treatment and has experience providing aesthetic Botox treatments.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

When he isn’t working on smiles, Dr. Branton enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Leah, a hygienist in Allentown, has been working in the dental field since 2007. His son, Leon, is heavily involved in sports and spends hours every week practicing his cello. Dr. Branton’s favorite pastimes include skiing, hiking, swimming, and cooking. For him, maintaining an active lifestyle helps him keep up with the demands of dentistry and continue giving his patients his best.
