Dr. S. John Salivonchik

Dr. Salivonchik grew up in Whitehall, just a stone’s throw from where he now practices as a general dentist near Allentown. He’s always loved the creativity and science that went into dentistry since watching his father practice. However, it wasn’t until college that he decided to follow in those footsteps. Today, Dr. Salivonchik has over 20 years of experience helping his patients achieve the smiles of their dreams.

Dr. Salivonchik earned his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple Dental School, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Since then, he has remained committed to staying abreast of all the advances in modern dentistry through ongoing education in areas like dental implants, laser dentistry, and Invisalign.

His training includes the Branemark Implant Curriculum, Nobel Biocare’s Guided Implant Surgery program, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and several other respected organizations that offer educational support.

As a lifelong learner himself, Dr. Salivonchik loves giving educational information to his patients in any way he can. You may have even seen him featured on CBS 2 New York, where he has shared his expertise on cosmetic and implant dentistry.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Salivonchik enjoys hiking, biking, and golfing with his wife, Lori, and their four sons, Steven, Jason, Gregory, and William. He also supports cancer research through his home-grown charity, which donates all the teeth whitening proceeds he collects to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund at the University of Minnesota.
