Using a <strong>crown<\/strong>, it\u2019s possible for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleydentalhealth.com\/meet-dr-john-salivonchik.html\">Dr. Salivonchik<\/a> to return strength, structure, and function to a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed.<\/p>\n<p>For your convenience, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleydentalhealth.com\/\">our Whitehall dental office<\/a> uses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleydentalhealth.com\/cerec--emax-crowns.html\">CEREC<\/a> technology to mill custom-made <strong>porcelain crowns<\/strong> in just a single visit. That\u2019s something that sets us apart from other practices.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, it\u2019s taken at least two visits to complete a <strong>crown<\/strong> procedure. During the first procedure, an impression is taken of the patient\u2019s tooth and a temporary crown is put in place. During the second, the procedure is completed with a permanent crown. In between that, though, it\u2019s always possible another appointment could be needed if your temporary crown falls out or cracks.<\/p>\n<p>With <strong>CEREC<\/strong>, the entire procedure can be reduced to just a single visit.<\/p>\n<p>When you come in, <strong>Dr. Salivonchik<\/strong> will take a 3D image of the tooth we\u2019ll be replacing. That information will be fed to our <strong>CEREC<\/strong> machine, which will start working on your tooth. Once it\u2019s done, all that\u2019s left is for us to put your crown in place and check the fit.
