It can affect anyone, but there are risk factors that increase your odds of it. However, the symptoms of it may start minor until it progresses to become more severe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thankfully, your dentist is trained to spot the warning signs of it. During your checkup, they&#8217;ll look for anything that seems suspicious and give you the treatment you need. That way, you increase your likelihood of a successful recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although you might be tempted to skip your cleaning, they are vital for your oral health. Try your best not to think of it as a &#8220;waste of time,&#8221; but rather as a chance for you to get the care you need.
